Theoretical and Mathematical Physics

Researches in theoretical and mathematical physics cover a vast spectrum of topics ranging from nuclear physics, particle and astroparticle physics, complex systems, general relativity, statistical mechanics and foundations of quantum mechanics.

Among these activities, many are realized in close collaboration with the local research groups in experimental nuclear and particle physics, with the INFN  as well as part of an extensive network of international collaborations.
