History of Physics and Physics Education
From different but synergic methodological perspectives, the investigations in the history of physics and in physics education deal with the evolution of the discipline within the broader cultural and scientific contexts and with the issue of an effective educational transfer of its contents. The research also extends to the museum field and to the new communication strategies and technologies.
The research in Foundations of Physics addresses certain thematic nuclei (uncertainty relations, wave/particle duality and quanton properties, quantum non-locality) to highlight explicit philosophical contents and to bring out the implicit ones. For this purpose both the history of physics and the history of ideas are needed.
